A therapeutic dosage form and method for treating an osteoporitic condition is described. The therapeutic dosage form comprises a divalent cationic source of strontium, vitamin B<SUB>6</SUB>, vitamin B<SUB>12</SUB> and folic acid or folate. The method comprises administering to a subject in need thereof a therapeutic dosage form comprising a divalent cationic source of strontium, vitamin B<SUB>6</SUB>, vitamin B<SUB>12</SUB> and folic acid or folate.
