The method involves spacing front storage stoppers (3) of a receiving slide-frame to permit a passage of grippers (5a) of a gripper bar (5) between the stoppers. The bar is inclined around a cross shaft, to lower the grippers below respective upper edges of the stoppers, while simultaneously opening the grippers, to separate a full sheet from the grippers by bringing a front edge of the sheet against the stoppers. An independent claim is also included for a full sheet receiving station of a plate like components transformation machine.
