PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus capable of selecting not only an entrance interchange but also a road to the entrance interchange, and searching for a route again. SOLUTION: The navigation apparatus draws a chart 42 including a starting point 25, general roads 23 and 24, and an interchange IC3 on a map displayed on a display monitor 16. Then, a recognition button 41 is pressed. As a result, a route from the starting point 25 to the selected entrance interchange IC3 is searched for while giving priority to a general road with a link within a specified region. A route from the selected entrance interchange IC3 to a destination 26 is searched for. Two selected routes are interconnected, and are displayed as a recommended route on the display monitor 16.
