PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil return structure of an internal combustion engine, which prevents sludge from staying in an oil reservoir, by surely making oil of a bottom part of the oil reservoir of an oil pan flow out of an oil drain hole. SOLUTION: The oil pan 11 is arranged in a lower part of a crankcase 6 of an engine E. The oil reservoir 14 is formed in an upper case 12 of the oil pan 11. An oil discharge pipe 94 extending from an oil separator 91 of a PCV device 9, is arranged inside the oil reservoir 14. The oil reservoir 14 is projected inward to an inner wall surface 13a of a lower case 13, and an oil discharge drain 14a is formed on a bottom surface 14c of a part of projecting to its inside.
