A paring method of a Bluetooth device using IrDA(Infrared Data Association) and a mobile terminal using the method are provided to simplify a complicated process of Bluetooth pairing by using IrDA communication function. An information configuring unit(110) configures an information file by using its Bluetooth information. A transmitting unit(120) transmits the information file by using an IrDA communication method. A receiving unit(130) receives an information file of a different terminal by using the IrDA communication method. An analyzing unit(140) analyzes the received information file, checks a pairing identifier, and obtains Bluetooth information of the different terminal. A list creating unit(150) receives the Bluetooth information of the different terminal from the analyzing unit(140) and registers it on a pairing list.
