Disclosed is a process for producing ethylene from ethanol combining the catalytic conversion of hydrocarbons, wherein an ethanol feedstock is contac ted with a Y-zeolite containing catalyst to give a reaction product, a coked catalyst and a target product of ethylene are obtained by passing the react ion product through a separator, a hydrocarbon feedstock is contacted with a Y-zeolite containing catalyst to give a reaction product, a spent catalyst and a reaction oil and gas are obtained by passing the reaction product thro ugh a separator, the reaction oil and gas is further separated to give liqui d products such as gas, gasoline and the like, a part or all of the coked ca talyst or a part or all of the spent catalyst enter a regenerator for coke-b urning regeneration, and the regenerated catalyst is divided into two portio ns, one of which returns to be contacted with the hydrocarbon feedstock, and the other of which, after cooling, returns to be contacted with ethanol fee dstock. This process not only reasonably utilizes the excessive thermal ener gy of the hydrocarbon catalytic conversion, but also solves the problem of h eat supply for the conversion of ethanol, thus ensuring the continuous conve rsion of ethanol to ethylene and generating enormous economic benefits. For the catalytic conversion of the ethanol, the content of ethylene is up to 95 vol% or more in the gas product, and the conversion of ethylene is up to 99% or more. For the catalytic conversion of the hydrocarbons, the yield of the light products increases slightly by at least 2mol%. |
