A median strip for soundproofing is provided to keep noise occurring in a part close to a median strip from going over the opposite lane and to absorb noise effectively using a soundproofing member and a sound absorbing box. A median strip for soundproofing includes a base member placed at the center of a road lengthwise, a soundproofing member(120) located on the top of the base member and composed of a sound absorbing plate(121) absorbing noise and a sound isolating plate(122) cutting off noise, a sound absorbing box(140) attached to the upper part of the soundproofing member assembled with a frame and composed of polyester(141) absorbing noise and an air layer(142) increasing noise transmission loss, and a frame assembled with the soundproofing member and fixing the soundproofing member to the base member.
