PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening limiting device for a vehicle, easily adjusting the opening of a door without requiring a driving source for driving the door itself. SOLUTION: This door opening limiting device for a vehicle includes: a control switch 50 for setting the opening limit position of the door within the range of the maximum opening of the door pivoted on the vehicle body to freely open and close; and an opening limiting mechanism 10 for limiting the opening and closing range of the door between the door opening limit position and the door closing position. Thus, an actuator for automatically opening and closing the door can be eliminated, and the opening of the door can be simply limited according to a user's request. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
