PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simultaneous backup device and a method to be used for a storage device. SOLUTION: Mainly, data from a host computer are simultaneously written in a main storage device and a backup storage device so that the data can be written and backed up at the same time. The concept of the data position is used simultaneously with the writing of the data, and it is analyzed which section in the storage device has written data, and the waste of the re-storage of blank data when subsequent re-storage is saved, and re-storage is operated only to the section where the data are present.
