PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device capable of suppressing intrusion of dusts from the opening part for housing a disk by a simple structure. SOLUTION: The disk device for reproducing information recorded in a housed disk and writing information to the disk includes a casing 701 having a shape according to a disk and the opening part formed therein to insert the disk, and a conveying means for conveying the disk inserted into the opening part into the casing 701 or out of the casing. The casing 701 includes a cap member 702 for closing the opening part, and an opening means for moving the cap member to open the opening part, when the disk is conveyed out by the conveying means. Thus, since the opening part is covered with the cap member 702, the intrusion of dusts into the casing 701 is suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
