A turning device is provided to rotate an object to be rotated with minimum contact between the object and a turntable, thereby minimizing an area of the turntable. An object to be rotated is put on an upper surface of a stage(60). A rotary unit(70) penetrates the stage, and is selectively absorbed on a bottom surface of the object to rotate the object. The rotary unit has a turntable(71) with plural sucking holes(72) penetrating a center portion of the stage for sucking the bottom surface of the object, and a driving unit(77) having a lifting part(78) lifting the turntable, a rotating part(79) rotating the turntable, and a rotary shaft(75) transmitting the power to the turntable.
