The drilling device, especially for injection drilling in special underground workings, has a support rope (16) which serves as a guide (15) for a backstay (12) and which is connected to the flushing head (10) and to a counterweight (18) which is movably arranged on the guide mast (3). The support rope is guided over deflection rollers (19,20,21) allocated to the backstay and to the tip (17) of the guide mast.
