<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter, capable of preventing breakdown of the transmitter due to the occurrence of abnormal power and executing FH (frequency hopping) transmissions, whereby a stable transmission output can be obtained with respect to changes due to aging. <P>SOLUTION: The transmission apparatus for generating a high-frequency transmission signal, subjected to frequency hopping within a prescribed frequency band and power-amplifying the high-frequency transmission signal to provide an output, includes an automatic power control circuit, configured with a variable attenuator, whose attenuation amount is changed electronically with respect to the generated high-frequency signal; a detection circuit for detecting a level of part of the power-amplified high-frequency signal, detecting the high-frequency signal detected to output the result as a detection voltage value; a control section equipped with a memory, to/from which the detection voltage value is written/read and outputting the detection voltage value read from the memory, corresponding to frequency hopping for controlling the attenuation amount of the attenuator; and a hopping synthesizer, subjected to frequency hopping and outputting a local oscillation signal subjected to frequency sweeping, at the application of power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
