<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular driving force distributing device for controlling a torque difference between right and left driving wheels and differential restriction. <P>SOLUTION: The rotation of a first rotation element RE1 is speed-changed by a speed change gear 44 and transmitted to a second rotation element RE2 or a third rotation element RE3 of a differential train 42 via a first clutch C1 or a second clutch C2 to control the torque of the right and left driving wheels 30l, 30r. During differential restriction, the speed change gear 4 is idled to eliminate torque transmission to a fourth rotation element RE4 and to completely engage the first clutch C1 with the second clutch C2 without sliding them. This reduces the cumulative amount of the slide of a friction engaging element during differential restriction and controls differential restriction without increasing sizes of the first clutch C1 and the second clutch C2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
