PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arousal level information output device for a vehicle for outputting an arousal level, at appropriate timings, to effectively call the driver's attention, without deteriorating a user interface. SOLUTION: An arousal level calculation means 31 calculates arousal levels 43 at, for example, 15-second intervals shorter than the shortest period of arousal level variations, and an output control means 35 performs an updated output of a display output 41 and an alarm sound output 39, in accordance with a preset output condition logic 37, on the basis of the arousal levels 43. When the arousal levels 43 is reduced to lower than a prescribed threshold, the control means 35 updates the display outputs 41 of the arousal levels 43 at first time intervals (e.g., 15-second intervals), and also outputs an alarm sound 39, in response to the degrees of the deterioration in the arousal levels 43. When the arousal levels 43 is not reduced to be lower than a prescribed threshold, and when they exceed the threshold and recover, the control means 35 updates the display outputs 41 at second time intervals (e.g., 1-minute intervals) that are longer than the first time intervals.
