PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curing device which dispenses with disconnection of a line when a tower body between arms of a power transmission iron tower is coated, and can expand/superpose curing nets, and to provide a curing method using the curing device. SOLUTION: The curing device 1 functions to expand the curing nets 6 (6A, 6b) for preventing coating splash from spattering when the tower body 2b between the arms 2a (2aA to 2aB) on the bend of the power transmission iron tower 2 is coated. The curing device 1 is formed of the curing nets 6 (6A, 6b) and fixtures 4 (4A to 4C). The curing nets 6 (6A, 6b) are each formed of a rectangular insulating material, and can be expanded/superposed in the vertical direction on a net plane basis. The fixtures 4 (4A to 4C) function to expand/superpose the curing nets 6 (6A, 6b) in the vertical direction along surfaces of the tower body 2b in a manner being spaced away from the tower body 2b so as to maintain a standard distance away from the same, and fix the curing nets 6 (6A, 6b) on the outside of the tower body 2b in a manner being spaced away from the tower body 2b so as to maintain the standard distance away from the same when the curing nets 6 (6A, 6b) are expanded.
