<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of stably manufacturing a color filter which has pixels printed by an ink jet system, with a wide margin, the color filter having sufficiently hardened partitions having no roughness on partition surfaces and a flat and uniform colored layer on each pixel free from color mixing and a white void defect. <P>SOLUTION: A transparent substrate 1 is coated with a photosensitive resin composition 12 containing a material giving ink repellency, pattern-exposed by an exposure device 5, and developed to form a partition pattern, which is hardened through irradiation with ultraviolet rays from a UV irradiation device 15. After the ultraviolet irradiation, the partition pattern is heat-treated below 180°C to thermoset, and ink is delivered to a region within the partition pattern by an ink jet device 7 to form a colored layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
