<p>The sealing ring has an inner groove (4) provided on an inner lateral surface (3). A radially-oriented flow channel (8) is formed on a side surface (7), where the flow channel opens into the inner groove. The inner lateral surface exhibits a protective edge and a sealing edge on both sides of the inner groove. The protective edge is broken by the flow channel, where the protective edge exhibits a plane protective surface. An outer groove (6) is formed on an outer lateral surface (5), where the inner and outer grooves are connected with each other by the flow channel. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement of multiple piston rod sealing rings in a piston compressor.</p> |
