<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation-sensitive resin composition which has a sufficient process margin, makes it possible to obtain a satisfactory spacer shape and film thickness with an exposure amount of ≤1,500 J/m<SP>2</SP>, and forms spacers for a display panel having high flexibility under compressive load, excellent also in adhesion, rubbing resistance and heat resistance, and excellent in resistance to a stripping solution. <P>SOLUTION: The radiation-sensitive resin composition useful for spacers for a liquid crystal display panel contains (A) a copolymer of (a1) an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride and (a2) another ethylenically unsaturated compound, (B) a polymerizable compound consisting mainly of (b1) tri- or higher functional (meth)acrylic esters and (b2) an ethylenically unsaturated compound other than the (b1), and (C) a radiation-sensitive polymerization initiator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
