PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus capable of reducing the cost for treating a subject compared with a conventional one, and reducing complication came from the treatment operation to the subject. SOLUTION: The endoscope apparatus includes an endoscope having an imaging means for capturing the subject image and outputting the captured subject image as an imaging signal, and a signal processing device for outputting the imaging signal as an image signal by signal processing to the above imaging signal, and the endoscope has a memorizing means in which the predefined data having at least information about the imaging means is written, and the signal processing device has a programmable image processing means for updating a circuitry from a predetermined data written in the memorizing means when the endoscope and the signal processing device are connected.
