摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water quality measuring instrument continuously providing highly reliable water quality data over a long time, remarkably reducing the number of times of maintenance, having simple structure. SOLUTION: When air in a first air chamber 3 provided in water is exhausted via a first air tube 8, water comes thereinto from an opening portion to raise a water level, causing a first submerged pump 14 and an intake 11a of a first water pipe 11 to be immersed in water. Water is sucked from the intake 11a and sent to a water quality measuring instrument 7. When compressed air is supplied into the air chamber 3 by an air volume adjustment part 6, inside water is naturally exhausted from the opening portion to lower the water level. Since respective intakes are normally held in air in this way, algae, etc. are less liable to adhere to the respective intakes, making it possible to reduce the number of times of maintenance and further to provide highly reliable data.
