PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry a coin by one carrying belt while preventing its rotation. SOLUTION: In the coin identification device, a curved sheet-like elastic member is provided along the carrying direction of coin in a carrying passage so as to protrude downward, and the coin carried is pressed onto the carrying passage from above by the elastic member.
