A heat shield of a converter in a vehicle is provided to reduce temperature between the converter and the heat shield by mixing inner and outer air of the heat shield. A heat shield of a converter in a vehicle includes a converter(10), suction and exhaust pipes(12,13), a filter(11), and a heat shield(30). The converter is installed between an exhaust manifold(3) and a muffler(5). The suction and exhaust pipes are connected to front and rear surfaces of the converter, respectively. The filter is mounted inside the converter, and collects particulate materials included in exhaust gas. The heat shield is installed at a peripheral portion of the converter and shields heat generated in the converter. At least one hole is radially formed on one side of the heat shield.
