An electro-optical apparatus, a method for manufacturing the same, and an electronic device are provided to increase the yield in a manufacturing process of the electro-optical apparatus and improve the characteristic of a thin film transistor. Data lines(6a) and gate lines(3a) are arranged in a display area above a substrate(10). A thin film transistor(30) is electrically connected to the data lines and the gate lines within each of pixel regions of the display area. The thin film transistor has a semiconductor layer, which is hydrogenated from an upper side. A storage capacitor(70) is electrically connected to the transistor, and disposed below the transistor within each of the pixel regions. A pixel electrode is electrically connected to the transistor and the storage capacitor within each of the pixel regions.
