PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleanser composition for dish washers, which has excellent cleansability and low foamability, and enables the quick removal of stains, the quick drying of dishes, and the reduction of water spots without a rinsing agent. SOLUTION: This cleanser composition for the dish washers is characterized by comprising (A) a cationized water-soluble polysaccharide, (B) a nonionic surfactant represented by formula (I), and (C) one or more compounds selected from sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, sodium carbonate and potassium carbonate, the weight ratio of the component (A)/the component (B) being 3/1 to 1/10.
