PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepreg and a fiber-reinforced composite material having excellent properties, for example, a prepreg and a fiber-reinforced composite material which can provide a golf club shaft having excellent mechanical properties and, in addition, excellent weatherability with the same processability as in the past. SOLUTION: The prepreg has carbon fibers impregnated with an epoxy resin composition comprising an epoxy resin [A], a curing agent [B], and a light stabilizer [C], and the light stabilizer [C] is localized on at least one side of the prepgreg.
