A character display method using basic form characters is provided to express every character of Hangul and English letters, and facilitate inputting of characters by automatically discriminating Hangul and English letters without using a Hangul/English input key. An input unit includes at least ten number keys for expressing Hangul consonants and vowels. Five basic form vowels are expressed such that one to four letters correspond to two or more number keys, respectively. Every vowel is expressed by combining the five basic form vowels according to the number of strokes. |
