<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small connector for a card with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The connector for a card comprises a base frame 1a having a side part frame rising from both sides, a connector body for aligning and fixing a plurality of contact pins 1b formed on one end side of the base frame, a shutter member 1e having through holes for the plurality of the contact pins 1b aligned and fixed by the connector body and capable of moving freely with the contact pins passed through the through holes, and a spring for shutter locking for locking movement of the shutter member 1e before the card is inserted, releasing the locking by interlocking with the insertion of the suitable card, and allowing connection of a card contact and the contact pins.
