A collector box (30) for a heat exchanger in an air conditioner circuit with refrigerant fluid, comprises a double-walled reservoir with an outer wall (32) and an inner wall (34) defining an inner chamber (36) and a peripheral chamber (38) separated by the internal partition (34), used respectively for the passage of fluid to be cooled and cooling fluid so as to constitute an internal heat exchanger integrated with the collector box.
