<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print an image by using a proper print parameter depending on the image. <P>SOLUTION: A user can set the proper print parameter without the need for setting the print parameter by recording photographing information associated with the print parameter, determining the proper print parameter for printing the image on the basis of the photographing information, and displaying the print parameter on a display section as an initial value.
