PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of a refrigerator comprising a door switch for detecting opening and closing of a door of a storage compartment, and a control device for controlling the operation of loads such as an inside lamp and the like on the basis of an input of the door switch. SOLUTION: As this refrigerator comprises the control device 6 for switching an output to the inside lamp 3a from OFF to ON, when a signal input from the door switch 5a is switched from OFF to ON, switching the output to the inside lamp 3a from ON to OFF when the signal input from the door switch 5a is switched from ON to OFF, and keeping the output to the inside lamp 3a for a prescribed time after switching, thus a chattering period of the output to the inside lamp can be kept to be more than the prescribed time, even when the chattering of the door switch is found, and shortening of service life of the inside lamp and a contact of the control device connected with the inside lamp can be reduced.
