A camera module in which a lens holder (11) holding one or more optical lenses is movable in the direction of the optical axis and in which an auto-focus function and a zoom function are incorporated is reduced in size and weight. A bearing section (11a) is formed in the lens holder (11), and a drive shaft (27) is inserted in the bearing section. An operation part (20e) of a piezo element (20) is made to be in contact with the drive shaft (27). The surface of that first part of the drive shaft (27) which is in contact with the operation part (20e) and the surface of that second part which slides on the bearing section (11a) are differently processed.
