<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of attaining a high speed processing and reducing the capacity of a memory by means of efficient image processing using DMA transfer. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a plurality of process means including an interface compatible with a high speed serial bus; a plurality of control means including an information interface compatible with the high speed serial bus for controlling the plural process means; and a switch means including a plurality of ports by each high speed serial bus and outputting a signal given to the port to a prescribed port on the basis of a transmission destination address included in the signal given to the port, and the plurality of process means and the plurality of control means transmit/receive a signal via the switch means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
