A process and an apparatus for balancing oil of a compressor in an air-conditioner are provided to prevent a damage of the compressor caused by a shortage of a lubricant oil and to improve a reliability of the compressor. An apparatus for balancing oil of a compressor in an air-conditioner includes an accumulator(61), a pair of compressors(62,63), a 4-way valve(65), and an exterior heat exchanger(70). The accumulator extracts only a gas refrigerant in refrigerant supplied from an indoor unit. The compressor compresses the supplied gas refrigerant extracted from the accumulator. The 4-way valve selects a flow path of the compressed refrigerant and is connected to the compressor. The exterior heat exchanger exchanges heat between the refrigerant supplied from the 4-way valve and outdoor air.
