PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein, because a discharge transistor is turned on all the time for a period of an off state of a power source IC through the discharge transistor provided to make the output terminal a ground potential when the power source IC is in an off state is turned on to discharge charges charged in a stabilizing capacitor from the output terminal through the discharge transistor, an excessive current flows through the discharge transistor for a long time when voltage is applied to an output terminal from the outside, so that there is risk that the discharge transistor is destroyed. SOLUTION: The discharge transistor Q1 is driven by a one-shot pulse generated on the basis of a control signal VCNT. Accordingly, because the excessive current does not flow through the discharge transistor Q1 for the long time even if the voltage is applied to the output terminal when output of this power source IC is in the off state, element destruction of the discharge transistor can be prevented.
