PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil element capable of improving DC superposition characteristics. SOLUTION: In the coil element, coil intervals SCD, SDE in an intermediate winding region R2 of a spiral coil 14 are each wider than coil intervals SAB, SBC, SEF and SFG in the other winding regions (internal and external circumferential winding regions R1 and R3). With this configuration, since a phenomenon in which magnetic fields to be generated in each of coil turns 14A-14G intensify each other is relaxed in the intermediate winding region R2, magnetic saturation hardly occurs in lower and upper magnetic films, compared to a case where the coil intervals SCD, SDE in the intermediate winding region R2 are each the same as or smaller than the coil intervals SAB, SBC, SEF and SFG in the other winding regions.
