PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headrest devised capable of sufficiently protecting a head part by effectively mitigating and absorbing impact even in receiving the impact due to overturning of an automobile, etc. and softly making contact with and contacting the head part of a user. SOLUTION: This headrest is furnished with a hard plate member formed irregularly so that a plurality of recessed parts and protruded parts continue to each other and a soft member provided on an inner surface of the hard plate member to bury the recessed part on the inner surface side of the hard plate member.
