PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for a biodegradable air cleaner high in collection efficiency of dust, long in filtration life, biodegradable, and also excellent in shape retention and water resistance. SOLUTION: The filter for the biodegradable air cleaner comprises a laminate of a coarse layer including a short fiber and a fine layer including a continuous fiber, wherein each layer is integrated by intertwining the component fiber made of a synthetic biodegradable fiber with the component fiber bonded by a synthetic biodegradable resin.
