The scrub cutter, for removing unwanted trees and bushes from uncultivated land, has a cutter unit at the front with pairs of contra-rotating circular saw blades (8). A pair of rotating screw units (11) mounted at a slight angle to the vertical feeds the cut plants (10) towards a conical cutter screw (18) which cooperates with a fixed screw (23) to shred them.
