<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil solution composition for metal working hardly causing caking even when free abrasive grains settled down, and excellent in re-dispersing ability, to provide slurry containing the composition, and a method for metal working using the slurry. <P>SOLUTION: This oil solution composition comprises the following ingredients: (A) 1-25 mass% propyleneglycol ether, (B) 0.5-10 mass% sorbitan derivative, (C) 0.5-10 mass% modified silicone and (D) at least one kind selected from the group consisting of mineral oil, synthetic oil and vegetable oil.
