PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of surely detecting and controlling an atmospheric temperature of a cooler portion by surely holding a temperature detector such as a temperature fuse, and improving work efficiency by simplifying holding and mounting/demounting of the detector to the cooler. SOLUTION: This refrigerator is arranged around the cooler to a pipe heater 10 sealed an electric heater in a pipe as a defrosting means of the fin tube-type cooler 6 cooling the inside of a storage compartment 3, a detector 11 for a cooler portion temperature is retained in a fixing tool 12 integrally formed by a synthetic resin, one side face of the fixing tool is placed along an outer face of an end plate 9 of the cooler to detect the temperature, and its upper end is fixed in a state of being engaged with an upper part of the end plate.
