<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image signal processor and an image signal processing method capable of reducing the amount of memory necessary for temporarily storing image data, and deterring prolongation of image processing time. <P>SOLUTION: This image signal processor 100 is provided with a filter 102 which performs image processing of data on picked up images obtained from an image sensor 110 for each line and generates YUV data, and outputs a block synchronizing signal each time the YUV data are generated up to a block; a buffer memory 104 for storing the YUV data in their generated order; and a JPEG circuit 103 which performs image processing of the YUV data for each block and generates JPEG data, in synchronization with a block synchronizing signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
