ONE-TO-MANY RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-to-many radio communication system and a method thereof which can efficiently transmit the same signals to a plurality of subscriber stations and prevent deterioration in processing performance and an increase in delay in a base station. SOLUTION: The system comprises the base station and the plurality of subscriber stations. The base station has the correspondence relation between information on destinations of data to be received from a network and numbers of the subscriber stations. When receiving data from the network, the base station correlates the received data to the subscriber station number corresponding to the destination information of the data and transmits it by a radio signal. Each of the subscriber stations has a subscriber station number unique to its own station and a subscriber station number unique to a multicast group to which its own station belongs to. Out of the radio signals transmitted from the base station, each of the subscriber stations receives data correlated to the subscriber station number unique to its own station and the subscriber station number unique to a multicast group to which its own station belongs to.
