PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging method and an imaging apparatus capable of preventing exposure blur due to camera shake when imaging a low illuminance object so as to improve the S/N. SOLUTION: The imaging method includes: a step S11 of setting camera shake correction to OFF for a first image of a plurality of captured images; a step S12 of setting a filter factor k to 1 for controlling elimination of the transient response of a filter initially; a step S13 of incrementing a counter by 1 and terminating the processing for the first image; a step S20 of applying processing of camera shake detection and correction to a succeeding image, that is, applying the correction to the image to cancel a camera shake component in response to a detected motion vector; a step S21 of calculating the filter factor k according to the reliability R and a filter factor ky; and a step S13 of incrementing the counter by 1 and terminating the processing, wherein the calculated filter factor k is fed to the filter to set the filter factor to a proper value.
