PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for surely preventing misdialing in faxing by allowing a center side to be capable of managing faxing permission telephone numbers. SOLUTION: An adaptor unit 2 provided with a pseudo subscriber circuit is connected to a facsimile machine 1 at a client side, and the adaptor unit 2 is connected to the Internet via an IP communication unit 5. Another IP communication unit 3 is connected to the Internet at a center side, and connected to a FAX security unit 5 via a FAX collection and distribution apparatus 4. When the facsimile machine 1 transmits FAX information to the center, the FAX security unit 5 references a restriction information database 6 for storing transmission restriction information to confirm whether or not a transmission dial number is correct. When correct, the FAX information is transmitted via a FAX gateway 7. Thus, misdialing in the faxing can surely be prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
