<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grommet capable of reducing insertion force to a hole of a panel while securing holding force to the panel. <P>SOLUTION: The grommet 1 is equipped with a main body part 11 in which a wire harness 4 penetrates through the inner side, and a collar part 12 and a movable piece 16 for sandwiching an inner edge of the hole 3 of the panel 2 between each other and engaging it to the panel 2. The movable piece 16 is formed as a separate body from the main body part 11, a part of it is positioned on the inside of a recessed part 14 formed into a recess from an outer peripheral face of the main body part 11, and a part on the outer side is energized in a state of protruding from the outer peripheral face of the main body part 11 by an elastically deformable band 17. When the grommet 1 is inserted into the hole 3, the band 17 is extended and the movable piece 16 goes into the recessed part 14, and after the grommet 1 is inserted into the hole 3, the movable piece 16 returns to a state of protruding from the outer peripheral face of the main body part 11 by elastic restoring force of the band 17, and the panel 2 is sandwiched between the movable piece 16 and the collar part 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
