PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active energy curable type inkjet apparatus which facilitates spitting, in particular, even with a full line head, and thereby suppresses nozzle clogging so as to provide high speed and high quality image formation. SOLUTION: The active energy curable type inkjet apparatus 100 comprises: an inkjet head 45 which discharges ink curable by active energy for a recording medium S; and a moving means 43 for relatively moving the recording medium S and the inkjet head 45. The apparatus is also provided with an ink recovery sheet supplying means 67 which supplies a spitting ink recovery sheet while facing the nozzles of the inkjet head 45.
