PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner capable of forming a toner image having sufficient fixing strength even in image formation to perform fixing even at high speed and even at a low temperature. SOLUTION: There is provided a toner of a core/shell structure in which the standard deviation of a shape coefficient SF-1 and the standard deviation of a shape coefficient SF-2 of the toner are respectively in specific ranges and the ratio of the maximum thickness and minimum thickness of the shell is in a specific range.
