PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spatial performance method for easily obtaining a target viewing space which enables user to intuitively perform access to a viewing content and is linked directly to the AV viewing request of the user, and to provide a device. SOLUTION: The control parameter of a controlled device required for performing a "target scene", in response to an attribute concerning the "target scene", is set in a target scene database 5, when the environment and scene to be performed are defined as the "target scene". An event-detecting means 1 detects an event that has occurred. A control means 6 determines the attribute concerning the "target scene" of the event which is detected by the event-detecting means 1, retrieves the target scene database 5 based on the attribute concerning the determined "target scene" of the event, reads the control parameter of the controlled device required for performing the "target scene" and controlling the controlled device, based on the read control parameter, and smoothly and easily performs the target environment and scene which are linked directly with the AV viewing request of the user.
