The invention relates to a cleaning device for cleaning a golf club, said device comprising a head receiving section for receiving the club head region of a golf club, and a brush device comprising a first brush roll and a second brush roll, the brush rolls being embodied in such a way that the bristles thereof are inserted into the head receiving section in order to be brought into contact with the outer surface of the percussive head region. The brush rolls are embodied and arranged such that the head circles of the bristle lining overlap each other. An especially effective relative movement of the bristles of the brush roll in relation to the club head enables a good cleaning result to be achieved. The two brush rolls define a cleaning section in the region of the head receiving section, the outer head region of the bristles of the brush roll continuously extending through said cleaning section. The head of the club to be cleaned is effectively centred and fixed by the brush rolls. |
